Our trip to LEGOLAND, Florida.

My kids have the love of Legos in their blood!  When their daddy was a boy, he spent hours EVERY single day playing Legos.  They were his absolute favorite toy.  Every Christmas, every birthday, that's all he ever asked for.  My mother in law had saved all of my husband's Legos for twenty years,  and when our oldest son was about 3 years old, gave them to him.  My husband was thrilled and he and my son spent several weeks going through all of his sets and rebuilding them.  That began my own children's love affair with legos.  My three oldest spend hours every day playing with these amazing little blocks.  How is it that simple little blocks can promote such imagination in children?!!!  As a family, we try to avoid electronics as much as possible, so Legos truly are the perfect toy for us!!

When my children read about LEGOLAND in their Lego magazine, they were amazed! "Mommy!!!! Did you know there's an ACTUAL LEGOLAND?!!"  

From that point on, we knew we would have to take them!

We had the opportunity to go to LEGOLAND, Florida last summer.  What fun was had!! One of our favorite parts was the water park....it is a must do if you go to LEGOLAND!
