I'm a beach-loving, Florida girl who instantly fell in love with the mountains when we were transplanted to Virginia’s beautiful Blue Ridge following the leading of God in our family's life.
I love a good hot cup of tea, although most days I'm fortunate to find the time to drink it lukewarm. I'm a registered nurse turned homeschooling mama, but I wouldn't have it any other way.

Sure, there are hard days, but most days I feel like I'm living my childhood dream, except I've traded in that classroom full of stuffed animals for a classroom at home with my precious babies.

I'm a sentimental romantic, and I look for the beauty that's found in every day. Perhaps that's why I'm so drawn to photography- I've always wanted to capture those precious moments so I can savor them for years to come.
